Galway’s next hot day as Met Eireann forecast ‘changeable conditions’

It is going to become a bit of a yo-yo weather situation
Met Eireann is forecasting some ‘changeable conditions’ between now and the end of the weekend with weather switching from hot to cold and sun to rain.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy at first with the best of any sunshine in the south.
Sunny spells will try and break through in the afternoon but will be blocked out by rain and cloud.
High temperatures of 23C will drop to as low as 10C leading to an easier night for sleeping with dry and clear spells forming overnight too.
Here’s how Met Eireann say the rest of the week looks:
Thursday: “A cloudy start for most with some light rain or drizzle in the north and west. Some sunny spells in the south will become more widespread through the day.
“Highest temperatures of 18 to 24 degrees, warmest in the south and coolest in the northwest, with mostly light northerly breezes becoming northwesterly.”
Friday: “Another day with a mostly cloudy start and some light rain or drizzle over the northwestern half of the country. Sunny spells in the south will again become more widespread through the day.
“Highest temperatures of 18 to 24 degrees, coolest in the west, with a light to moderate westerly breeze.
Saturday: “Likely a more unsettled day than recent days for most as outbreaks of rain spread from the northwest.
“Highest temperatures of 17 to 23 degrees, warmest in the southeast, with moderate, occasionally fresh, west to northwest winds.
Further outlook: “Current indications are for changeable conditions to persist with further rain and showers expected, though there will be some sunny spells too, especially in the south and east.
“Highest temperatures will range from the mid to high teens in the north and west to the low twenties in the south and east.”
