Date Published: 13-Jan-2012
A search of the river Corrib in the city is expected to resume later this morning.[13/1]
It's after a man in his 40s or 50s was spotted in the water near Spanish Arch at about seven o' clock yesterday evening.
Members of the coastguard and gardai attended the scene - but the search was stood down due to fading light.
The Garda helicopter and dive unit will resume the search this morning.
The teams will also continue their search for a 19 year old man who entered the water at O'Brien's bridge last Saturday morning.
