WARNING TO AVOID ILLEGAL GALWAY CAR SPRAYERS

Galway motorists are being urged not to use the services of illegal car spraying providers in operation across the city and county.
The Environmental Protection Agency is warning that the compounds found in car paint carry significant dangers for both health and the environment.
It says only certified operators can ensure harmful effects such as respiratory illness are minimised.
EPA Air Enforcement Officer Dr. Ian Marnane says car owners should always ask to see the certification of vehicle refinishers prior to availing of the service.
