Varadkar says Fine Gael not worried about rebel group involving Galway senator
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A cabinet minister says Fine Gael has nothing to fear from a new grouping of its former members which includes Galway senator Fidelma Healy Eames
The Oranmore senator along with one other senator and four TDs are setting up a 'Reform Alliance' which will sit together in the Dáil.
Galway west TD Brian Walsh had been with the alliance initially but has since withdrawn his membership
The members are grouping together after being told they won't be allowed to run for Fine Gael in future, because they voted against party policies.
But Transport Minister Leo Varadkar says Fine Gael will remain focussed on bigger issues.
