US FIRM BUYS GALWAY MEDICAL DEVICES COMPANY

Galway medical devices manufacturer Brivant Medical has been bought by a US firm. Lake Region Medical, based in Minnesota, is a medical device equipment supplier and has a base in New Ross County Wexford. Brivant Medical is based in Parkmore Business Park in the city and employs 80 people. Global Director of Marketing with Lake Region in the US Ron Vonwald says the jobs at Brivant Medical in Galway are secure.
