The HSE West is still unable to provide details on how it proposes to save 68 million euro from its budget over the next four months.

The INMO, SIPTU and IMPACT trade unions met yesterday with HSE management for the second time this week in a bid to clarify matters.

However, unions say they are still in the dark as to what the HSE is proposing and have still not received a report on proposed cuts that was leaked to the media several days ago.
