UNION TO ORGANISE GALWAY MEETING FOR AVIVA STAFF

Unite trade union is organising a meeting in Galway next week to discuss uncertainty about the future of jobs at Aviva.

The board of the insurance company is meeting in Dublin today, but no decision on the future of the company is expected for several weeks.

Aviva employs around 210 people at its Knocknacarra call centre and Eyre Square branch.
