UNIDENTIFIED BODY BURIED ON GALWAY ISLAND

The unidentified remains of a man found in Recess in Connemara four and a half years ago have been buried on Omey Island.
The remains had been kept in the morgue in the University College Hospital in Galway since they were discovered in an isolated wooded area near Lough Inagh.
Despite many efforts in Ireland and abroad the man was never identified.
