Unemployment in Galway is continuing to drop for the third consecutive month in a row.

Figures released for the month of November show a drop in the number of people on the live register, continuing a trend started in September.

There were 287 fewer people on the live register in Galway last month than there were in October.

However, there are still over 22,000 people without work in the city and county.
