UK profits double at Galway-headquartered toy store chain

According to today's Irish Times, the 47 stores across Britain and Northern Ireland generated pre-tax profits of over three million euro in 2012.Profits and revenues for Smyth's Irish businesses are not publicly known, as the Galway-based unit has unlimited status, and is not required to file annual accounts to the Companies Office.
