UHG PERFORMANCE TO BE ANALYSED BY SPECIAL DELIVERY UNIT

A comprehensive analysis of the performance of University Hospital Galway is to be completed before the end of the year.
The government has tasked the Special Delivery Unit to carry out the diagnostic study.
It will focus on the hospital's emergency department and all non-elective care in a bid to improve the facility for both patients and staff.
