UH DIRECTOR TO MEET WITH ROSCOMMON DEMONSTRATORS

The clinical director of GUH is meeting with protestors this lunchtime, over plans to curtail A & E services in Roscommon.They want to know what plans are in place to deal with up to 40 extra patients a day at UHGs already over-crowded emergency department.Up to fifty people travelled by bus from Roscommon to UHG this morning, where they protested outside the emergency department.They were swiftly moved on by hospital staff, and so moved their protest to the front of the main doors where they walked around with banners and placards.
