UDARAS GETS WARNING ABOUT UNAUTHORISED DEVELOPMENT AT CILL CHIARAIN PLANT

A warning letter about the unauthorised operation of an effluent treatment system at a fish processing factory in Cill Chiarain has been sent to Udaras na Gaeltachta.Galway county council has issued the letter as a result of an inspection carried out by a planning enforcement officer at Cill Chiarian Eisc Teo.A spokesperson for the Udaras said they are in talks with the county council about reducing the number of hours the treatment system will be in use per week.
