TWO CITY MEN CHARGED FOLLOWING WEEKEND CRIMINAL DAMAGE INCIDENTS

Two city men have been charged with alleged criminal damage following a number of fires in the city in the early hours of Sunday morning.

31 year old Karl McCarthy with an address in Rahylin Glebe, Ballybane and 21 year old Conor O'Riordan with an address in Coolagh, Briarhill appeared before Galway District Court last evening.

They are both charged in connection with three counts of alleged criminal damage at locations in Renmore and Ballybane in the early hours on Sunday morning.

They were both remanded in custody to appear before Harristown District Court on Friday.
