TUAM'S ONLY PD TOWN COUNCILLOR LEAVES THE PARTY

Tuam's only Progressive Democrats Town Councillor, Ann O’Donnell-Brady is leaving the party.She is to retain her seat on Tuam Town Council as an Independent member.Cllr Ann O’Donnell-Brady’s defection from the PDs came as a shock to some when she made the announcement at last night’s town council meeting.Afterwards she told Galway Bay fm news that as there was no PD organisation in Tuam for the past four years she might as well be an Independent town councillor anyway.
