TUAM COUNCILLORS THREATEN TO PICKET DAIL OVER DELAYED HEALTH CAMPUS

Tuam Town Councillors are threatening to picket the Dail over the delay in providing a health campus and ambulance base in the town. The move was proposed by Councillor Paul O’ Grady at last night’s meeting of the town council.Councillor Paul O’Grady said that after the summer recess the town council members should picket Dail Eireann. He claims the local TDs were silent on Team’s proposed Health Campus and as a picket on the HSE meetings might be lost among other groups picketing he proposed that they protest outside Dail Eireann.Cllr Gileesa Lane agreed with his proposal and she added they could 'paper the walls’ of Tuam Town Hall with all the letters they had received from the HSE and the Government on the proposed health campus.
