TUAM ARCHBISHOP ISSUES RESPONSE TO ABUSE REPORT

The Archbishop of Tuam, Michael Neary, has issued a response to the report of the Dublin Archdiocese Commission of Investigation report.
In a statement to Galway Bay FM news, the archbishop says the report makes for sad and shocking reading.
He says everyone is deeply disgusted and disillusioned by the awfulness of the abuse.
He also says the Archdiocesof Tuam is fully committed to implementing best practice in terms of safeguarding children who are in the pastoral care of the church
