TRIAL OF GALWAY GP CHARGED WITH DANGEROUS DRIVING TO BEGIN TODAY

The trial of a Galway GP charged with dangerous driving causing the death of a woman near Claregalway two years ago gets underway this morning.

Dr. Devi Chalikonda of The Ashes, Cnoc an Glas, Spiddal, appeared before Galway Circuit Criminal Court on Tuesday.

She pleaded not guilty to a charge of dangerous driving which caused the death of Mrs Eileen O’Halloran, at Cregboy, Claregalway on August 28th 2007.
