TIME RUNNING OUT FOR SUBMISSIONS TO MONEENAGEISHA TRAFFIC PLAN

There's little over a week left to make submissions to the city council on a new high-tech traffic light system at the Moneenageisha roundabout. Plans for the traffic lights are on public display in the Galway Transportation Unit based in the grammar school next door to City Hall. The traffic lights will be linked to a series of lights to ensure maximum 'green time' at the badly congested roundabout. Members of the public have until Monday 16th of February to make submissions on the new system.
