THERMO KING LET GO ALL TEMPORARY STAFF

Officials at Thermo King in Mervue have admitted that there are no longer any temporary workers at the plant.The admission comes in the wake of last months's statement saying they were "exploring the different options of dealing with a worldwide reduction in demand" for their products.Workers with temporary contracts have been let go steadily by Thermo King over the past few weeks, and last Friday the final 15 temporary staff did not have their contracts renewed.A spokesperson for Thermo King told Galway Bay fm news they have not cut any permanent staff, and remain hopeful that production at the plant will improve.
