TAOISEACH TO LAUNCH KEY MARINE PLAN IN ORANMORE

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny is to visit Oranmore on Tuesday [Jul 31] where he'll officiate at the launch of a key marine plan at the Institute in Rinville.
The plan entitled "Harnessing Our Ocean Wealth" has been developed by the Inter-Departmental Marine Co-ordination Group which is chaired by Minister Simon Coveney.
Tuesday's launch follows a two month public consultation process undertaken in February and March where a total of 191 submissions were received.
Four thousand visits were also made to the project website.
The launch of the report takes place at the Marine Institute in Oranmore at noon on Tuesday.
