SUSPENDED SENTENCE IN ORANMORE DEATH BY DANGEROUS DRIVING CASE

A Brazilian man charged with dangerous driving causing the death of a woman in Oranmore in 2009, has received a 3 year suspended sentence.
25 year old, Cleone Pereira de Matos, with an address at Moneymore, Oranmore appeared before Galway Circuit Court.
He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing the death of Nina Buhl on December 12th 2009.
