SUSPENDED PRISON SENTENCE FOR SALTHILL RESIDENT ON DRUGS CHARGES

A 26 year-old Salthill resident was given a six-month suspended prison sentence at Galway District Court yesterday.France native Florent Guibot, of 49 Whitestrand Park has been working in Galway as a chef for three years.He pleaded guilty to having a bar of cannabis resin in his possession at a room in the rented house, and with having the drug for sale or supply to others on May 27.
