STRATEGY TO BOOST CREATIVE ECONOMY IN THE WEST

The Western Development Commission is drawing up a strategy to boost the creative economy in Galway and the West. The strategy is being devised in conjunction with regional businesses and a high-level industry advisory group. Almost 5,000 enterprises in the creative economy sector employ over 11,000 people in the Western region. The businesses range from architecture to art and design, film, software, performing arts, music, TV and radio.
