STILL NO FUNDING FOR LOUGHREA SWIMMING POOL

The Loughrea swimming pool committee is still awaiting a Government grant of 1 point 7 million euro, this week's meeting of the Town Council was told.The meeting also learned that people in Loughrea could only have 35 hours use of the pool each week as it is a joint venture with local businessman, Brian Shaughnessy.
