Specialist eye clinic to return to Loughrea
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A new Opthalmic nurse will take up duty in Loughrea next week, restoring an eye clinic service to the Loughrea area.
The clinic is being restored after Minister for Training and Skills, Ciaran Cannon, highlighted the lack of such a service in the area following the retirement of the previous nurse.
Minister Cannon says he's glad the clinic will be reopening on Monday to deal with the backlog patients.
