SOUTH GALWAY HOMES STILL UNDER THREAT

Several homes in the Kiltartan and Kinvara area are under threat this morning as large volumes of water continue to flow across the main N18.

Homes in the Kiltartan and Skehanagh area are still submerged as a result of a wall being knocked there yesterday.

Two walls on the N18 collapsed beside Kiltartan school and the junction for Kinvara, and the N18 remains completely closed off two miles North of Gort.

Emmergency services are still on standby to assist anyone who needs help today.

Heavy floods mean a number of roads are still closed around the county, and commuter services are disrupted.
