SOME PROGRESS ON MOYCULLEN TRAVELLER SITUATION

County council Director of Services for Housing Frank Gilmore is due to meet with city council officials next Tuesday to try and resolve the controversial issue of travellers living illegally in Moycullen.The travellers, who are thought to have previously been living in Galway city, have been parked on the side of the old road at Corcullen for nearly 6 months.It's hoped the city council will be able to find a suitable site for the travellers who have themselves indicated a wish to move back to the city.
