SIPTU hosts home help information meetings in city and Loughrea

The meetings will discuss the Labour Court recommendations regarding contracts of employment.

The Labour Court ruling followed an intensive campaign of protest, lobbying and campaigning by SIPTU Home Help activists.

The first of the meetings takes place today in the Clayton Hotel in Ballybrit at 7.30pm while the second one takes place tomorrow in Loughrea Hotel also at 7.30 in the evening.

Local SIPTU organiser Mark Lohan says it's important that Galway Home Helps attend these meetings to ensure delivery of the LRC recomendations.
