A shortage of large office space in the city is hampering activity in the Galway market.

The latest market report from DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald reveals that when all office space is taken into account, the vacancy rate is around 13 point 1 percent.

The suburbs accounted for 88 percent of take up over the past 12 months and its market share continues to rise.
