Shannon demonstration in solidarity with imprisoned Galway activist
Galway Bay fm newsroom - A demonstration is to be held in Shannon this afternoon in solidarity with Galway anti-war activist Margaretta D'Arcy.
The 79 year old from Woodquay was jailed last month after she refused to sign a bond to uphold the law and keep away from unauthorised zones at Shannon.
The protest takes place at 2pm.John Lannon from campaign group Shannonwatch says Margaretta has a lot of support from the people of Ireland.
