SEVERAL BALLINASLOE RESIDENTS TO RETURN HOME OVER WEEKEND

Residents in certain areas of Ballinasloe whose homes were flooded are hoping to return to them over the weekend.As water levels of the River Suck have greatly receded in recent days, residents of Derrymullen, Willow Park and Ashfield Drive are hoping to return to their homes.A big clean up is currently being carried out in these areas with the help of the residents' neighbours, relations and friends. There are still several areas of Ballinasloe, however, where residents are unable to go back to their houses.
