SENTENCING DEFERRED IN CASE OF GORT ROBBERIES

A Brazilian man pleaded guilty this week to six counts of burglary at various premises in Gort last August.Appearing in custody before Galway Circuit Court was 28 year old Gustavo Silva, of 5 Derry House, Dominick Street, Galway city.Judge Raymond Groarke deferred sentencing in the matter to July 13 next and directed the preparation of a probation report on the accused for that date.
