A Galway Senator is slamming the Government for refusing to outline plans for the future of Meitheal Forbatha na Gaeltachta.
130 jobs, including 30 in Connemara were lost when the company announced last week that its to close down.
Senator Trevor O' Clochartaigh requested the Environment Minister Phil Hogan to address the Seanad today to outline the future for workers at the Gaeltacht company.
However, the Government has refused to allow an amendment to the order of business allowing the Minister to speak to the Seanad.
