Defence Solictor Colman Sherry said there was no loss to the state and added that his client was extremely contrite and there were no aggravating factors.
Before handing down the fine, Judge Mary Fahy said the situation is that this lady was continuing to drive a Mercedes car without tax while fully employed and in receipt of a good salary from the state.
Ms. Healy Eames was fined a total of 1850 euro for a total of four summonses which included three incidents of having no tax and one which was taken into account of failing to display.
A fifth summons of false declaration was withdrawn by the state.
