SEIZED PAINTINGS TO BE AUCTIONED OFF FOR GALWAY CHARITIES

Staff at Galway Garda Station might have to stage an art exhibition if they want to sell off eighty paintings worth up to €150 each.The paintings were seized under the Police Property Act from an illegal immigrant before he was deported from this country via Galway Airport recently.Garda Sheeran said the man told Galway District court the paintings were owned by a British based company named, Art For All, which was owned by a man named Yoavbaun Garten.
