SEIZED MACHINERY RETURNED IN CLONMOYLAN BOG DISPUTE

Clonmoylan turfcutters have ceased their stand-off with Gardai this evening after an agreement was reached to return machinery that was used for alleged illegal cutting.

It follows a two day dispute led by the raised bog owners over a garda seizure of a digger and a hopper machine yesterday.
