SALTHILL TEENAGER GETS 5 MONTHS IN PRISON FOR STEALING FROM CITY PUB

A Galway District Court judge has branded the father of a teenage defendant as arrogant for rejecting help for his son. Judge Mary Fahy blamed the father of 19 year-old Jack Watchorn of Aras Gael, Whitestrand Avenue, Salthill for his spiral into crime after he rejected help for his son's social and psychiatric problems.Watchorn was given five months in jail for stealing drink from a city pub on three occasions earlier this year.
