RENTS RISE SLIGHTLY IN GALWAY

Rents in Galway have risen slightly in the past three months, but are still 1 and a half percent lower than the same time last year.

Nationally, the price of rent rose for the first time in the last three months, since before the recession hit Ireland.

However, the Daft dot ie study shows that although rents have risen slightly by zero point two per cent, in Dublin and Cork, they have fallen in rural areas.
