Renmore's tough start continues

Date Published: 25-Sep-2007

THE weekend action gave a fair indication of the form of various clubs as Dynamo Blue lead the way in the Premier League, while Salthill Devon maintained their challenge with a win over Colga — but most of their early season opposition has come from the lower end of the table.A youthful Renmore continue to struggle, but a consolation for them is that they finally scored their first goal of the season when going down to Corrib Rangers on Sunday. Meanwhile, West Utd continue to find wins hard to come by as a deserved late equaliser by Kiltullagh gave them a share of the spoils at Millars’ Lane.In the lower divisions, Bohemians, Moyne Villa, Corrib Rangers B and Oranbay all secured victories which mantained their title challenges.Tribes Ladies completed a league and cup doube with a win over Renmore, while Julieanne Russell (Salthill Devon) and Kara Mullins (Bohs Celtic) head off to Slovakia this week to represent Ireland in the European U19 Girls championship qualifiers. For detailed match updates see this week’s Sentinel
