REFUSAL FOR CASTLEGAR DEVELOPMENT UPHELD

A decision to refuse permission for 9 apartments in Castlegar has been upheld.An Bord Pleanala says the development would be premature pending the road improvement works on the Castlegar road, and that it would negatively impact on existing dwellings in the area.Galway city Council initially refused permission for the development last March.
