QUESTIONS RAISED OVER QUALITY OF ROAD RESURFACING MATERIAL

The quality of road material being used to fill potholes and damaged road surfaces across the county has come under scrutiny.

At this weeks County Council meeting, several councillors questioned how roads that were resurfaced before christmas were now once again in appalling conditions.

Roads in Dunmore, Loughrea and South Galway were highlighted as the most dangerous with hugh potholes and uneven surfaces.
