Public consultations on Outer City Bypass
Two public consultations on the City Outer Bypass will take place next week. (14-15/7) Galway County Council is co-ordinating the development of a transport solution for Galway after planning permission for the original project was overturned by the Supreme Court last year. The N6 Outer City Bypass project is being managed by the Galway National Roads Project Office on behalf of the city and county councils. A dedicated project office staffed by newly appointed consultant, Arup, has been established beside the NRPO in Ballybrit. The first public consultation will take place on Monday next from 10am to 9pm in the Westwood Hotel in Dangan. A second session will take place on Tuesday next from 10am to 9pm at the Pillo Hotel on the Headford Road. The aim of the sessions is to inform the public of the study area for the scheme and the constraints that have been identified to date.
