PROTESTORS CONCLUDE DEMONSTRATION AT DEREK NOLAN'S OFFICE

A group of protestors has now concluded a demonstration on the Dock Road outside the constituency office of Deputy Derek Nolan.
The rally began at midday and was being held as part of a campaign against the introduction of property tax this year.
It was organised by the local campaign group against property, water and septic tank charges who requested a public debate on pre-election commitments made by Labour.
Deputy Nolan said he has no problem debating the new tax and understands the public concerns surrounding the issue.
He has now reopened his office after he took a decision to close it earlier while the picket took place.
