Progress on drainage scheme for Ballinderreen
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Work on a new drainage scheme for the Kiltiernan - Ballinderreen area should get underway this year.
The County Council is revising the scheme to bring the cost/benefit ratio to a level that is acceptable to the Office of Public Works.
A meeting on the scheme, involving the IFA, Oireachtas members and local area representatives took place this week.
Councillor Michael Fahy says he is assured that progress is being made on the drainage scheme for Ballindereen.
