A full investigation is underway as to how confidental tax documents turned up in a Galway rubbish bin15 cases containing files with the tax details of several individuals were found in the waste container in an apartment complex in GalwayThe files, running to more than 100 pages, contain details such as names, addresses and the revenue history of dozens of Galway based individuals They were stolen earlier this month from a parked car belonging to the employee of a Galway firm of solicitors which acts as Revenue Sheriff for the areaAccording to today's Irish Independent, some of the confidential documents include details in respect of the inititaion of court proceedings against tax defaulters
