PRISON SENTENCE FOR RENMORE HOUSE BURGLARY

A heroin addict who burgled one house, and who was found with stolen goods from a second house, was jailed for seventeen months at Galway District Court yesterday.29 year old Martin Barrett of 14 Rahylin Glebe, Ballybane, pleaded guilty to the burglary of a house at Dun na Mara, Renmore, on March 30 last, during which two flat screen TV’s were stolen. He also pleaded guilty to handling a laptop, knowing it was stolen, during another burglary in the city last July.
