PRELIMINARY PM DUE AT SCENE IN OUGHTERARD

A preliminary post mortem examination is being carried out by the State pathologist, Dr. Marie Cassidy at the scene of the sudden death of local man John Kenny.
Dr Cassidy arrived in Oughterard shortly after half eleven this morning.
The body of the teacher and part-time publican was discovered by a family member at Kenny's Bar on Main Street around 6 o' clock last evening.
John Kenny, who was in his 50s, has one daughter and siblings who live in the local area.
