PLANS FOR SEAPLANE SERVICE BETWEEN GALWAY AND LIMERICK

People travelling from Galway to Limerick could have a new choice of travel shortly.Plans have been announced for a seaplane service between Galway Docks and Foynes, Co. Limerick.According to today's Irish Times, Harbour Air Ltd. is awaiting approval from the Irish Aviation Authority to operate the service from next February.The company hopes to operate two daily scheduled flights, lasting about 25 minutes.
