Plans for new windfarm in Moycullen
Galway Bay fm newsroom - County planners are to consider an application for a new windfarm in Knockranny in Moycullen.
The development sets out to construct 11 turbines with a maximum height of up to 140 metres.
Western Power Developments Limited are seeking ten year planning permission for 11 wind turbines.
The proposed development also includes a permanent meteorological mast of up to 90 metres in size and substation.
The plan would also see a new and upgraded internal site service road with all underground cabling and associated infrastructure.
County planners are due to make a decision at the end of next month
